TAFE Outreach programs are closely aligned to the Federal Social Inclusion Agenda ensuring NSW education is accessible to people who face barriers to learning including geographical and social isolation, language and cultural factors, financial hardship, lack of educational confidence, being unaware of opportunities to learn, a disability or family commitments.
16 students’ enrolled in the qualification and 16 students’ completed the course. They were all ready to leave home and enrol at Goulburn Police Academy. All students had developed skills abilities to manage Charles Sturt undergraduate degree in Policing.
Four students applied for September 2010 intake to Goulburn. another changed their career plan and is applying for Degree in Economics. Another of the graduates is applying for Security Officer at Sydney Airport while the remaining students are working to save some money and have some time out, they are applying for the 2011 intake at Goulburn.
